Margreth Olin

Margreth Olin Mykløen, born 16th of April 1970, is a well-known film producer, screenwriter and director. She is known under the name of Margreth Olin and has her education as director and producer from the college of Volda and universities in Bergen and Oslo.

Her debut came as a documentary filmmaker with her graduation film "In the House of Love" in 1995. In 1998, she released her first feature length documentary "Dei mjuke hendene" which was screened at theatres, and received various awards. Olin’s first fiction film was "Fråtseri" which was one of seven films in the short film series "The 7 cardinal sins" (2000). Since then, she has toured the world with several of her later films, receiving awards, nominations and great critics. 

In 2008, Margreth received the award for "Life protection" for creating awareness and conveying a strong message about human values through her movie: My Uncle.
